Pro 3:29 Do not plan evil against your neighbor who dwells trustingly beside you.
The obvious meaning would apply to true evil we are intentionally plotting against others. Like setting my neighbor's house on fire, for instance. That would be bad.
In line with my arguing comments from yesterday, I think we can also plot evil against our neighbor when we pre-plan arguments and ponder how best to let them know they have failed or wronged us. Is that not evil? Is it likely they are doing the same thing if they are trusting of us?
I heard a sermon from a friend's church the other day. He called it becoming an "Anger Factory." What an accurate term! We can sit around and create anger out of practically nothing, if we do not stop ourselves.
Psa 37:8 Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.
It tends only to evil! Our internal anger factory is not a good thing. It is an evil thing.
