Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.
Here we see again the two types of wisdom - the wisdom of man (our own insight) and the wisdom of God. We are told not to rely on our own insight, or wisdom. As logical and forward thinking as we may be, we cannot see all ends or all beginnings and do not have all the information we'd need to make completely accurate, wise, and rational choices based on our own knowledge and power. We do not have the mental capacity to rival God in this endeavor.
God is the creator of everything, so in everything we must lean on Him and look to Him as a guide. In matters small and great He knows what to do and will guide us. Father Corapi was quick to note we can't turn away from God and His wisdom simply due to an inconvenience on our part. God's wisdom is always better than our wisdom, no matter how wise we think we are. Even in small things. And small things add up to big things; things we know we want God to take care of us for us.
